White Bedding Sticks to Me Like a Magnet!

My daughter was home from school for the weekend
so she and I vintaged shopped one of the days away!
As I was walking with an armload of white
quilts to pay, Sarah was asking me where I
was going to put them when we got home.

(this question was shortly on the heels of
her helping me dig through stacks of
white linen in the closet to find her
favorite lap blanket to watch a movie under!)

"I don't know honey!!
I'll probably hug them for awhile,
stack them all pretty and put them on the
studio daybed to look at, and then sell them!"
(she doesn't quite get this addiction I have...)

One of the quilts has squares of different
pure white fabric.
Some of the squares have ruffles,
some have chenille,
and some are embroidered, or just plain white,
super crisp and clean.

The other pure white quilt is again,
super crisp and clean in mint condition.
The quilted pattern is simple and elegant...

...the edges are scalloped.

I wish I could describe the temporary high
I get when I run across finds like this,
but then again, I think alot
of you already know what I'm talking about!

I have these listed in my shop. If you want to
take a better peek. :)

Happy Monday Sweet Bloggies!

Wow, those are beautiful!!! I don't know if I'd be able to let them go if I were you! I just got some all white RA bedding last month and I love it!

How fun that you and your daughter had a shopping day:)

You seriously find the most amazing things Clare! That patched quilt.....*sigh*
Those special finds are always better when you have someone to share the experience with :)

Hi Clare,
I absolutely love white bedding, I'm in the process of decorating my bedroom and want everything white, including bedding, I can't find anything white locally that I really like on top of very expensive on line (have a king size bed) and decided to make my own, but I'm not an expert on fabrics and you are, so, I wanted to ask you... what kind of fabric would you recommend, I want to make the bedskirt not too "ruffly" because my husband doesn't like it, then something to cover the entire bed. Please if you have any advice for me would be much appreciated.
I love what you have on your store.
Have a fantastic day!
